The Animal Cardiology Center is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our new specialty cardiology practice in the DUMBO neighborhood of Brooklyn.
We are a team of inspired veterinary professionals, practicing modern medicine in a state of the art and collaborative environment. Our brand new facility ensures you have the tools, technology, and support needed to succeed, grow and thrive.
In addition to traditional Veterinary Technician duties, you will participate in:
♡ Advanced history taking
♡ Advanced imaging, including Echocardiograms
♡ Conducting physical examinations and patient assessments
♡ Rounding with the doctor on cases using learned cardiology knowledge
♡ Providing consistently compassionate care for our patients

Requirements for the Veterinary Technician:
♡ Veterinary Technician License (CVT/LVT/RVT)
♡ 2 years’ experience as a Veterinary Technician
♡ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and an ability to clearly communicate with clients as well as team members
♡ The ability to adapt while maintaining a positive attitude
♡ Highly evolved organizational skills with an acute attention to detail
♡ The ability to work independently, responsibly, and ethically
♡ A resourceful nature and creative problem-solving skills
♡ An openness to feedback, coaching, and continuous learning
♡ A commitment to the welfare of animals
Nice To Have:
♡ Anesthesia skills
♡ Cardiology experience
♡ Interest in pursuing your cardiology VTS
