The Ann Arbor Cat Clinic is searching for a cat savvy Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. We are a cat exclusive hospital located in Ann Arbor Michigan (recently voted as best place to live in the entire United States!). Idexx lab, Cornerstone software, digital radiology, computer records. We utilize fear free techniques and treat our staff as family. Required to work some weekend hours. New graduates are welcome – we are excited to mentor you as you improve your feline skills.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Ideal candidate will be adept at technical skills including phlebotomy, placing IV catheters, administering oral and parenteral medications, monitoring anesthesia, assisting in surgery and dentistry, wrapping and sterilizing surgical packs, client education, admitting and discharging clients/patients. Must have experience working with cats and their people. Excellent communication skills are a must. Applicants with experience using Idexx lab and Cornerstone software preferred.
