We are a full-service, AAHA-accredited animal hospital with over 50 years of providing excellent veterinary care in the heart of Sandy Springs. Our hospital focuses on being a place of comfort for our clients and pets, in sickness and in health. You will have the opportunity to reach your full potential as a Veterinary Technician performing all technical responsibilities alongside a team of doctors to provide quality patient care to dogs and cats. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-Intravenous catheter placement and venipuncture
-Administer drugs (IV, SQ, IM, oral)
-Surgical preparation and perform dental prophylaxis
-Obtain radiographs and assist with ultrasound procedures
-Perform diagnostic blood, urine and fecal testing
-Provide care to hospitalized patients
-Client communication and education
-Admitting and discharging patients
