Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support, diagnostics, and repairs for various Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). You will work directly with vehicles at ports, dealerships, and customer locations, ensuring that all service tasks are completed to the highest standard. This position requires extensive travel and the ability to work independently in diverse environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, including ICE, hybrid, and electric vehicles, in accordance with OEM standards.
Travel to various locations, including ports, dealerships, and customer sites, to provide on-site service and support.
Update and reprogram vehicle software as needed, ensuring all systems are operating correctly and efficiently.
Conduct thorough multi-point inspections and document all findings, repairs, and services performed.
Work closely with OEMs, dealerships, and customers to address technical issues, answer questions, and provide guidance on vehicle operation and maintenance.
Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including parts used, labor time, and service outcomes.
Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies, tools, and service procedures through ongoing training and development.
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and procedures while working on vehicles and in different environments.
Provide feedback to OEMs and S3 management on vehicle performance, common issues, and potential improvements in service procedures.
Assist with technical training for other technicians and support staff as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or degrees in automotive technology are highly preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician, with a focus on OE (Original Equipment) vehicles.
Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, repair procedures, and maintenance for both ICE and EV models.
Proficiency in using OEM diagnostic tools and software for vehicle troubleshooting and repair.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while traveling and working in various locations.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with OEM representatives, dealership staff, and customers.
Willingness to travel extensively, with the possibility of overnight stays depending on project requirements.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
