An exciting opportunity is now available for a Pharmacy Technician! This exceptionally talented Pharmacy technician will work at Penn State Health Milton S Hershey Medical Center in the heart of Central Pennsylvania where the love of candy and helping people brought our founder, Milton S. Hershey.

Our dedicated team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians work daily to maximize quality and patient safety in accordance with federal and state pharmacy regulations. You’ll be working in the 3 Outpatient pharmacies, including our meds-to-beds program. We offer FREE ACPE credits onsite to all pharmacist and pharmacy technicians as well as FREE access to Technician letter.

*Six (6) months of recent (within the past two years) experience in a retail pharmacy with: educational background in medical terminology, sig codes and computer use, previous customer service skills, previous patient interaction and communication skills, previous third-party billing and computer experience including prior authorizations, prescription refills and inventory management.
*PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certified Boards) required for certified positions.
*Must pass a proficiency test
