Otay Pet Vets is looking for a highly dedicated and energetic individual to join our team of associates who provide attentive, professional service to our amazing clients and their animal companions. Excellent interpersonal skills, a drive to learn and collaborate, and a compassionate attitude will prepare the right candidate for success in this role.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Previous 2 years experience in veterinary medicine required, exotic animal experience is a plus; provide general nursing care; radiographs; phlebotomy; IV catheter placement; ultrasound guided cystocentesis; anesthesia monitoring; intubation; surgical assistance and dental prophy; SQ, IM, IV injections; administer medication and treatments; communicate effectively; critically think and effectively respond to critical incidents; and work at a fast pace independently and with the team.
