AutoCAD Drafter – custom cabinetry

Overview

We’re a high end custom cabinetry and millwork shop looking for a draftsperson with AutoCAD experience to join our team. This role involves creating production-ready shop drawings based on architectural plans and client needs. Experience in millwork and cabinetry is important.

Responsibilities:

-Produce detailed shop drawings for custom millwork and cabinetry using AutoCAD
-Work from architectural drawings, sketches, and notes to develop fabrication-ready plans
-Visit job sites to take accurate measurements when needed
-Make revisions as needed based on feedback from clients, architects, or shop staff

What We’re Looking For:

-Experience with Cabinet Vision is a huge plus
-At least 3 years of experience drafting millwork or cabinetry in AutoCAD
-3+ years working in custom millwork or cabinet making
-Understanding of cabinet construction and woodworking joinery
-Able to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
