Companion Animal Wellness Center in Poulsbo, WA is looking for an experienced individual to fill a full time Veterinary Assistant position.
As a small clinic, all of our staff are an important piece of the puzzle. Duties of the Vetreinary Assistant position include:
Checking in, scribing, and facilitating appointments.
Restraining patients.
Taking dictation
Communication with clients regarding care plans for patients.
Setting up surgery
Filling prescription requests across various online platforms.
Cleaning and maintaining equipment.
Coordinating with treatment and front staff to ensure a smooth flow.
The ideal candidate will have previuos experience in a veterinary clinic, strong communication and computer skills, and a passion for providing compassionate, high-quality care to clients and patients.
Our clinic is open Monday through Friday 8am to 6pm, no late nights or weekends.
