Role Overview:
Step into a pivotal role within the operating room as a Sterile Processing Technician, where you
play a crucial part in supporting surgeons and OR staff, ensuring seamless surgical procedures

Key Responsibilities:
● Be an integral member of the OR team, excelling in both preparation and execution of
surgical procedures.
● Maintain the highest standards of sterile practice to ensure patient safety and efficient
procedure flow.
● Manage and maintain surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring operational
readiness.
● Collaborate closely with hospital staff and fellow team members to provide exceptional
service and support.
● Responsibility for the cleaning, disinfection, and proper maintenance of endoscopes and
surgical instruments.
● Candidates must live within 30 minutes of Corewell Health Butterworth Hospital.
● High school diploma/GED required; further education or technical training preferred.
● Must obtain CRCST Certification within 90 or 120 days of employment; being a CST is a
plus.
● Availability for 24/7 hospital coverage on a rotational basis, including weekends,
holidays, and on-call shifts.
