At Yorktown Veterinary Associates (YVA), we provide a wide range of veterinary services, including preventative care (e.g., wellness examinations, vaccinations, parasite control, microchipping), surgical and procedural services (e.g., spay/neuter, soft tissue/orthopedic surgery, dentistry, radiology, laboratory analysis), consultations (e.g., sick visits, cardiology, ultrasonography, specialty surgery, weight management) and pharmacological services.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Technical Skills: venipuncture, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, anesthesia administration/management, intubation and patient monitoring, surgical assistance, catheterization, IV administration, dentistry procedures, lab protocols, operation and maintenance of clinic equipment, nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases, medication administration, animal handling/restraint.
