Overview

  • We are a fast-paced veterinary hospital looking for the right credentialed veterinary technician to join our team. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, a hard worker, a team player, skilled in all areas of the veterinary field, and who works well with the public. Must have excellent phone skills and be able to work under pressure.
  • This position is open to full-time and part-time applicants with no weekend hours! We pride ourselves on the quality of care we offer our patients and the level of education we provide to our clients. We strive to foster a healthy work culture and work-life balance.

  • Valid RVT license required; however, recent graduates from a veterinary technician degree program who are planning to take the test for registration in the state of West Virginia in the near future will be considered.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Dog/cat restraint, working knowledge of veterinary terms/vaccines/medications/procedures, venipuncture, SC/IM/IV injection, IV catheter placement, oral medication administration, anesthesia monitoring, surgical assisting, customer service

Required Education Level : Associate's Degree
