We are seeking Licensed Veterinary Technicians to join our GROWING ER/Urgent Care teams! All shifts available!

About Us: Virginia Veterinary Centers Midlothian has been serving the community since 2001. Our emergency department offers immediate triage and treatment for urgent situations. Our doctors have obtained intensive training in addressing life-threatening conditions and have the latest technology at their fingertips.
We strongly believe that communication is one of THE MOST effective tools. With that, we stay in close contact with our patients’ primary care veterinarian and collaborate with specialists to help make the best decisions for our patients.
We are in the process of building a BRAND-NEW hospital, estimated to be complete Fall 2023.

About You:
· You are a Licensed Veterinary Technician dedicated to outstanding client service and excellent patient care.

· You’re not afraid to jump in and get your feet wet! A diligent worker who takes initiative and contributes to the operation of the entire hospital, you will help get all the day’s duties done!
· You are eager to continue enhancing your skill set and enjoy learning & collaborating with a team.
· You have a strong foundational understanding and can perform the basic responsibilities of a veterinary technician including (but not limited to):
o Venipuncture
o Placing IV Catheters
o Drug Calculations
o Administration of Medications (IV or other methods)
o Taking Vitals
o Gathering Medical History
Anticipated Schedule:
· Ideally three 12-hour shifts, but we are open to discussing four 10-hour shifts if that better suite your needs
o 7a-7p
o 3p – 3a
o 7p – 7a ($5 shift differential)
· Rotating weekends, two weekends off guaranteed
· Schedule will ideally be posted 2 months in advance, 1 month minimum
Compensation:
· Starting $25-30 – Will increase with advanced skills
· Overnight Shift Differential: $5 for shifts starting 7p or after.
