VCA Veterinary Specialists of Northern Colorado is seeking an experienced Part-Time Inventory Specialist to join our AAHA-accredited, 24-hour emergency/specialty referral practice located in beautiful Loveland, Colorado.
We are a well-established and growing, AAHA accredited, emergency and specialty referral hospital serving the front range of the Rocky Mountains since 2000. We pride ourselves in offering the highest quality medicine, meticulous patient care, and compassionate, client-centered customer service at all times – day and night. We have board certified specialists in internal medicine, surgery and neurology, an experienced team of emergency doctors. All of our doctors are supported by their highly valued technical staff and our client service representative.
The hospital is fully equipped with an in-house laboratory, advanced patient monitoring equipment, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, laparoscopy, and on-site CT and MRI.
As a hospital we are very interested in taking necessary steps to continue our growth. As a large hospital, the inventory specialist is a vital part of our team. We are looking for knowledgeable, energetic, and passionate people to help us provide our clients with a high quality service and great experience. Our team is the backbone of our hospital and without everyone’s skills, knowledge and fun-loving personalities we can’t succeed.
- maintaining an adequate stock of all products used, dispensed and sold,
- organizing inventory so items are easy to locate,
- identifying products that need to be reordered,
- maintaining accurate purchasing and inventory records,
- ordering, receiving, and inspecting shipments,
- rotating stock and monitoring expiration dates.
- communicating with local hospitals to assist with urgent hospital inventory needs
This individual must demonstrate high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, and all associates. They also need to have strong communication, customer service, time management, computer, and organizational skills. An understanding of veterinary and medical products is preferred. The inventory specialist must also be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
