A staple in the Ville Platte community since 1985, Town & Country Animal Clinic delivers full-service, comprehensive medical care to small and large animals. This mixed practice believes developing close relationships with our clients enables us to provide excellent quality, consistent service to animals throughout their lifetime. Our team provides medical support to dogs and cats in addition to large animals including equine, cattle, swine, and sheep. Our on-site doctors are experienced in equine reproduction and overall herd health.
Town & Country offers a comprehensive selection of services for companion and large animals. We believe preventative care is essential to starting pets off on the right paw and perform wellness exams, administers vaccines and microchipping for companion animals and equine. Using trailblazing technology and equipment, we perform dental care and surgery from routine cases to emergencies. Led by our primary large animal doctor, our equine services include but are not limited to yearly vaccinations, simple extractions, and ultrasound. We provide cattle services including herd health, ultrasound, hoof care, and fertility testing.
Ville Platte is nestled in the center of Louisiana on the outskirts of Cajun Country. This city is rooted in crawfish boils, swamp pop music, and outdoor recreation. Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Maintain the visual appeal or the hospital reception area, greet and welcome clients and patients, answer questions and triage client concerns, answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution, schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow, check in and check out clients and process payments. Our receptionists offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need to our clients and must be comfortable with various medical outcomes.
Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases.

We’re looking for:
Experienced Receptionist with a minimum of 1-year veterinary experience preferred
Compassionate, Calm, Team Player, Multi-Tasker and Strong Communicator
Highly organized and possess computer skills
Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset.
