The Old 41 Animal Hospital is a small, community-focused, dog and cat practice in Bonita Springs and we are looking to add a full-time experienced veterinary assistant or CVT to our team.

Compensation is based on experience and starts at $18/hour

Examples of duties include:

Providing an excellent customer and patient experience
Assisting the veterinarians
Diagnostic imaging including digital x-rays and dental x-rays
Venipuncture
Placement of IV catheters
Perform in-house laboratory tests
Inducing and monitoring anesthesia
Care of hospitalized patients
Client education
Essential skills include animal husbandry, computer proficiency, an understanding of veterinary terminology and commonly used veterinary drugs. Veterinary experience is required and experience with Avimark is a plus!
