Rio Linda Veterinary Clinic is looking for a Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to join our team! This position is located in Rio Linda, CA. We are a very busy privately owned small animal veterinary practice. Our focus is on superb customer service with a small town feel. We also offer a full range of medical services to help care for our feline and canine friends.
Responsibilities: Obtain histories from clients
Weigh & temp patients
Administer vaccines & medications
Fill prescriptions
In-house lab testing
Sterile surgery preparation
Restrain pets
Educate clients
Clean and wrap surgery packs
Call clients with lab results
Take radiographs
Experience: 1 year of experience in a veterinary hospital preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $19.00 – $22.00 per hour

Shift availability: Must be able to work Wednesday through Saturday 7:45 am to 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
