Overview
We are looking for a full or part time veterinary technician that has a minimum of 2 years experience working with dogs and cats and that can work the front desk as well. We are fortunate to have great clients at our hospital and are looking for someone with a positive, outgoing and team player attitude to add to out team. Having the ability to multitask and willing to learn, are what we strive for at our hospital.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Restraining and handling of cats and dogs for exams and treatments
2. Drawing blood and placing IV catheters
3. Monitoring during surgery and dental procedures
4. Recovering patients after anesthesia
5. Taking radiographs
6. Cleaning of the hospital
7. Front desk duties: answering phones, scheduling appointments, checking clients in and out, call backs and inventory
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Restraining cats and dogs, assisting during surgeries and dental cleanings, taking radiographs, drawing blood and placing IV catheters and assisting with treatments
