We are looking for a full time, creative, and upbeat Licensed Veterinary Technicians to join the best veterinary hospital in coastal South Carolina. If you’re interested in joining the camaraderie of going to escape rooms and movies, getting an adult frozen beverage after work……..OK….margaritas…..we love margaritas ……, participating in silly videos such as the 12 Howlidays for Christmas, the Mannequin Challenge, and Despacito………well, you get the picture. Our practice sees nearly all companion pets and exotics with a goal of low-stress handling. We are the go-to practice in Beaufort County for amazing wildlife (deer, otters and eagles!) as well as animal shelter/control court cases.
Our hospital is led by Dr. Mary Campbell who has a master’s degree in veterinary forensics. You know CSI for vets is way cool. Our team works like The Avengers of veterinary medicine………there is the occasional Loki but it all works out in the end. “FOR ASGARD!”

Port Royal Veterinary Hospital (PRVH) is on the Atlantic coast between Charleston and Savannah in a brand-new huge state-of-the-art facility with a kick-ass surgery and imaging suite. Our treatment area gives staff lots of room to work. Our hospital requires an experienced, dedicated candidate to join our full-time staff.

 

 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

The right candidate will possess the ability to work independently and be familiar with performing basic veterinary tasks including treating animals, preparing them for surgery, monitoring anesthesia levels, ensuring the safety of the hospital environment, maintaining sterile conditions and developing a smooth workflow within the hospital. The successful candidate will also be comfortable working in a dynamic environment with a variety of responsibilities.
