Pfister Animal Hospital is a full-service, small animal, three doctor veterinary hospital helping our clients and their pets since 1993. We are located in beautiful West Chester, Ohio. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8 am to 6 pm and Saturday 8 am to 12 pm. Our grand 12,000sq ft facility, allows us to provide numerous services for our patients such as general wellness and preventative care, surgery, dentistry, boarding, and grooming, canine rehabilitation, and more. We also offer ultrasound, digital radiology, dental radiology, ability to run in house diagnostic bloodwork, laser therapy, an underwater treadmill, and much more!
We are looking for experienced professional groomer. We are seeking a compassionate. enthusiastic, and dedicated team member to join our practice. We strongly recognize the importance of the human-animal bond, and we see our clients and patients as extended family. Previous experience as professional groomer required. Facility is fully equipped for all grooming needs and pay is commission based. Experience grooming cats is preferred.

Job Description
Join a supportive team in a high-end, modern environment. Pet Groomers will perform top quality grooms in a timely manner. Groomers should have current grooming experience and be able to consistently provide pups and parents with a high level of gentle and professional care.
Job duties may include but not limited to:
Clean the dog’s teeth
Maintain an upbeat attitude
Calm an anxious dog
Ensure company policies are being followed
Communicate effectively with clients to find out what they need
Shampoo and wash a dog’s hair or fur
Create a welcoming environment for dogs and their owners
Cut or shave a dog’s hair or fur
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Proficient at Grooming
Ability to lift dogs that weigh up to 50 pounds
Ability to work in a professional manner
Calming presence to pets
Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time
Great communication skills
Ability to work on a team
