We are looking to expand our team! As our client base continues to grow, our need for additional helping hands and smiling faces has as well.
Paws and Claws Veterinary Clinic is looking to add experienced professionals to our team to elevate our level of care and continue to broaden the spectrum of treatments and services we bring to our patients. We are currently seeking experienced Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Assistants to add to our team.
As part of our team, you would assist our Fear Free certified DVM provide high quality care with low levels of stress and anxiety. You would assist in wellness exams, sick exams, technician exams, routine surgical procedures, ultrasounds, x-rays, running in house lab work, preparing samples to be sent to the reference lab, maintaining patient records, and educating our clients on the services and treatments we provide along with their importance.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:-Knowledge of core vaccines for canines and felines
- Knowledge of restraint methods for canine and feline vaccinations, injections, catheter placement, x-rays, blood draws, etc.
-Knowledge of common veterinary terminology
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Ability to effectively educate clients on recommended treatment plans
-Ability to clean and prepare exam rooms
-Desire to further expand knowledge and skill level
