Exciting Opportunity: Animal Care Veterinary Technician Supervisor Position #9722 | Starting at $23.48/hourIssued: December 8, 2025 | Closes: January 9, 2026
About the Role: Be part of a dynamic, compassionate medical team where your expertise makes a real difference! As our Veterinary Technician Supervisor, you’ll collaborate with Clinic leadership, train and onboard new Clinic staff, and help save lives every day.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and train veterinary assistants, including onboarding and skill development
Prepare educational materials and track training progress
Perform and teach advanced procedures: surgical assistance (including high-volume spay/neuter), anesthesia, diagnostics, emergency care, and humane euthanasia
Handle animals of all kinds – from companion pets to exotics, livestock, and horses
Manage medical records in our shelter software
Identify inefficiencies and implement innovative solutions
What We’re Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 3 years of experience training/leading others in a veterinary or shelter setting
Ability to lift 50 lbs and a valid Florida driver’s license
Commitment to high standards of care, professionalism, and teamwork
Bonus Points For:
5+ years in veterinary/shelter medicine
Experience in high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter programs
Supervisory role experience
Certified Veterinary Technician credential
Degree in Veterinary Technology
Training/teaching certifications or protocol writing
Fluency in Spanish and/or Creole
Perks & Details:
Full-time: 40 hours/week (variable, including evenings, weekends, holidays, on-call, and emergencies)

Location: 7100 Belvedere Road, West Palm Beach (possible work at Pahokee or off-site events)
