Northridge Animal Medical Center, or NAMC is a well-established small animal general practice with 1 full time and 1 part time veterinarian. We’re proud to offer our clients a full-service facility where our mission is to provide progressive, compassionate and affordable veterinary care. Our team is highly trained and prepared to offer our clients the most complete and innovative veterinary care for their pets, such as wellness care, urgent care, general surgery, orthopedic procedures, dentistry, acupuncture, chiropractic care and more!

Our facility maintains cutting edge equipment such as a complete Idexx in-house lab, digital imaging for both whole body and dental, cold therapy laser and more! We aim to maintain a friendly and cohesive working environment with top quality medicine, where the team feels more like family and our clients, more like friends.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

Maintain the visual appeal or the hospital reception area, greet and welcome clients and patients, answer questions and triage client concerns, answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution, schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow, check in and check out clients and process payments. Our receptionists offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need to our clients and must be comfortable with various medical outcomes.

Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases.

We’re looking for:

Experienced Receptionist with a minimum of 1-year veterinary experience preferred
Compassionate, Calm, Team Player, Multi-Tasker and Strong Communicator
Highly organized and possess computer skills
Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
