Come join the NCSU CVM Health and Wellness team in the Small Animal Primary Care Service. This is a Monday – Friday 40 hours per week position with no weekends, paid Holidays, and no On-call. Work alongside Veterinarians in teaching 4th-year Veterinary Students on their clinical rotation in Small Animal Primary Care. This is a collaborative approach to teaching the students along with utilizing the technical skills that you were trained for.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Provide technical support for the Small Animal Primary Care Service.
Assist veterinarians and veterinary students with examinations, treatments, animal handling, restraint, surgery circulation, and anesthesia.
Responsible for breaking down various technical tasks into steps and effectively articulating and performing with students how to perform these tasks and more (anesthesia, dentistry, venipuncture, recovery from sedation and or anesthesia, etc.).
