Overview
Pet restraint, triage of incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, and management/nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases.
Administration of medications, communication of treatment plans with clients, surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management.
Mentor and guide junior team members, supporting their development and fostering a collaborative, high-performing team.
Assist in training new staff and help streamline clinic workflow to improve efficiency and patient care.
Lead by example in maintaining safety, professionalism, and compassionate care standards.
Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste, and potentially contagious diseases.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:An experienced Veterinary Assistant with a minimum of 3+ years of experience required.
Compassionate, calm, a team player, multi-tasker, and strong communicator.
Able to properly restrain pets.
Proficient in sample collection, obtaining medical histories, processing lab tests and radiographs, and anesthesia monitoring (a bonus!).
A self-starter with a desire to grow professionally and take on leadership responsibilities.
