Job Summary:
Join our customer’s team as a Field Technical Specialist, where you will provide on-site installation, maintenance, and technical support for household appliances and integrated smart home systems. Use your expertise to solve complex problems, engage directly with customers, and make a tangible impact on their daily lives.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and validate a variety of home appliances and connected hardware systems at customer sites.
Conduct diagnostic assessments and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and connectivity issues to ensure optimal device performance.
Deliver exceptional customer service by educating users on product features, system operation, and safety best practices.
Utilize field service applications to accurately document service activity, technical findings, and customer feedback in real time.
Collaborate with remote support teams to resolve advanced technical problems and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and site procedures while navigating diverse residential environments.
Represent the customer’s team with professionalism and a customer-centric mindset at all times.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven mechanical aptitude with proficiency in the use of hand and power tools for equipment installation and repair.
Demonstrated experience using field service apps or mobile platforms for workflow management and reporting.
Superior written and verbal communication skills with a strong commitment to clear, empathetic customer interactions.
Working knowledge of electrical and plumbing connections relevant to appliance setup and configuration.
Outstanding customer service skills, with the ability to listen, educate, and resolve issues effectively.
Valid driver’s license and the physical capability to lift heavy equipment and access various residential job sites.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting integrated smart home systems or IoT devices.
Relevant certifications in appliance repair, electrical, or plumbing trades.
Track record of exceeding customer satisfaction goals in a field service setting.
