Overview

Come work for a hospital that values and utilizes your hard-earned skills, supports professional development, celebrates the joy of practicing veterinary medicine, and believes in the power of work-life satisfaction.

Technician duties include surgical prep and anesthesia monitoring, dental cleanings, imaging, hospitalized patient care, outpatient assistance, emergency triage, drawing and running blood work and other lab work, client education, and assisting doctors and other support staff with maintenance of the hospital and other tasks.

We are looking for a credentialed Veterinary Technician, which requires certification and/or a degree from an accredited veterinary technician program. New graduates welcome! Veterinary Assistants are encouraged to apply as well – we have a generous tuition assistance program to sponsor those who would like to pursue certification.

We are an AAHA-accredited, AAFP Cat Friendly accredited, and Low Stress handling certified hospital. We are proudly a privately and locally owned practice providing general practice and daytime emergency services, which keeps the work interesting and rooted in our community.

We offer a profit-sharing bonus plan, discounted veterinary services and products, health insurance, an additional health care stipend for other medical expenses, personal and vacation time, tuition assistance and a student loan paydown program, among other benefits. Pay varies with credentials and experience, and bonuses, shift differentials, and on-call stipends add roughly 10% above the base hourly rate.
