Overview
The Repair and Maintenance Technician repairs and maintains company equipment and the physical facilities, and makes suggestions for overall improvements, purchase of materials and equipment needed to keep the company’s physical assets in good working order. The Repair and Maintenance relies on experience and judgment to anticipate needs, and plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals. The Repair and Maintenance Technician reports to and receives direction from the Vice President of Maintenance & Operations and may receive direction from the General Manager and other department managers.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:4+ years of facility and equipment maintenance and repair experience including: HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and General Construction.
Proven knowledge of OSHA safety guidelines, trade standards and building codes.
Good knowledge and ability to use tools and equipment that may include: hammer, screwdriver, hand drill, tape measure, dollies, and 8 foot and 12 foot ladders.
Ability to handle electrical and welding equipment items safely.
Ability to read technical specifications and instructions.
