PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Be able to comfortably lift 45 lbs.
Be flexible enough to bend over and touch the floors
Be able to kneel & stand repeatedly
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Interact with pets and their humans in a friendly and compassionate manner
Handle & restrain patients properly and humanely
Administer medications under the DVM’s direction
Venipuncture & catheter placement
Anesthetic induction, monitoring and patient recovery
Laboratory procedures including ear cytology, blood smears, use of the IDEXX Vet Lab Station and Sedivue Analyzer
