Our successful and growing animal hospital is highly motivated to hire licensed and experienced Veterinary Assistants to join our team. We have a strong team-led mentoring culture. We are looking to add another member to our team that will fit in well with our current culture. The right personality is key! We see patients during regular daytime hours of 7:45am to 5:45pm during the weekdays. The ideal candidate is one that is flexible and is available to work shifts during these hours. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable with all breeds of cats and dogs. This position requires licensing or extensive experience as a Veterinary Assistant. The starting base wage will be determined by previous experience. Please recognize that the veterinary field no longer supports using the title of veterinary technician or nurse unless you are licensed. Team members are eligible for wage raises on a bi-weekly basis dependent on completion of training tasks.

Salary: $14.00 – $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 36 per week

High school diploma/GED required
2+ years’ experience working with animals
1+ years’ experience working as a Veterinary Assistant
Comfort around cats and dogs required
High math aptitude
Good communication skills
Organization skills
High aptitude with software data entry
Customer Service skills
