Overview
The Veterinary Tech Assistant will support and assist the veterinarian and vet techs, ensuring the safety of pets, clients and other associates. The individual will assist staff in handling and controlling animals during procedures as operating, cleaning & sanitizing. The Vet Tech Assistant will care for animal’s needs: Including watering, feeding, bedding animals, and taking dogs out for regular exercise. The staff member will clean & sanitize feeding utensils, food prep areas, kennel, cages, & other animal areas. 1
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Being able to multi-task and having love for animals is a must. Otherwise, most skills will be taught.
