Overview
We aren’t your typical general practice. We are a privately owned, non-corporate, AAHA accredited small animal and exotic day practice. We see a variety of cases with approximately 70% medical and surgical, and 30% wellness.
We are looking for an experienced veterinary technician/assistant with at least 1 year experience. Duties include (but are not limited to): blood draws, IVC placement, radiology, patient history, vitals, client education, EMR medical notes, preparing and explaining estimates, in house lab tests using IDEXX equipment, ear cleaning, anal gland expression, vaccination, and more.
Preference given to applicants that are credentialed and/or bi-lingual in Spanish.
Additional skills that are preferred include: anesthetic monitoring, ICU nursing care, O2 cage, CPR, CRI’s, dental prophylaxis including dental radiographs.
Must have excellent communication skills, be a team player and be available to work some weekends.
