DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a HVAC Refrigeration Maintenance Mechanic, you will perform skilled work at the journey level in the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration and/or heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems, units, equipment, and peripheral devices in a nursing home facility.
Situated in the beautiful mountains near Michaux State Forest, South Mountain Restoration Center is a long-term care skilled nursing home facility operated by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday – Friday, with 30-minute lunch. May change based on operational needs.
Overtime as needed.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Two years of experience in the maintenance, repair, or installation of HVAC or refrigeration systems, units, and equipment; or
Completion of a three-year Vo-Tech training program in refrigeration, HVAC, or building automation and six months experience in the maintenance, repair, or installation of HVAC or refrigeration systems, related digitally controlled equipment, or BA systems; or
