DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This is skilled work at the journey level in the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration and HVAC systems, units, equipment, and peripheral devices within the Bureau of Juvenile Justice Services, Youth Development Center/Youth (YDC/YFC) Forestry Camp system. Work is performed under the guidelines of federal, state and local laws and regulations pertaining to refrigeration and HVAC operations and maintenance, and established trade practices.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Travel and overtime as needed
Subject to emergency call-in
Schedule and overtime may change based on operational need.

Three years of experience in the maintenance, repair, and installation of HVAC and refrigeration systems, units, and equipment including one year working with commercial or industrial HVAC or refrigeration equipment and controls; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes one year working with commercial or industrial HVAC or refrigeration equipment and controls.
