We have openings in several areas: Charlotte NC, Pittsburgh PA, Vancouver WA, Seattle WA, Eugene OR, and Denver CO. A valid driver’s license is necessary for these positions.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

In the morning, you’ll pick up your veterinarian in a BetterVet branded SUV. Your vehicle will be equipped with a digital stethoscope and point of care ECG as well as a Butterfly hand-held ultrasound, Tonovet, blood pressure monitor and other medications and supplies. You and your veterinarian will visit approximately six to eight clients per day in the comfort of their homes.

Some of your daily responsibilities will include:

Managing inventory and loading the vehicle
Preparing for appointments by procuring medical records & communicating with your veterinarian about the daily caseload
Communicating with clients (calls/emails/messages)
Scribing notes and creating invoices

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

You have 2+ years of experience as a Veterinary Technician/Veterinary Nurse
You are experienced and comfortable with animal handling/restraint
You have some experience with TPRs, blood draws, SQ and IM injections, BP measurements, ear slide staining and cytology, and SNAP tests
You want to leverage your veterinary experience in an innovative way
You strive to offer quality medicine and a fear-free vet experience for your patients
You thrive while building rewarding relationships with clients
