Job Description
We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Dog Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have at least 6 months of hands-on grooming experience, a gentle approach with dogs, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
The Dog Groomer will be responsible for bathing, drying, brushing, trimming, styling, and safely handling dogs of various breeds, sizes, coat types, and temperaments. This position requires patience, professionalism, and the ability to work in a clean, organized, and caring salon environment while maintaining the standards of our individual appointment model.
Responsibilities
Perform full-service dog grooming, including bathing, drying, brushing, clipping, trimming, styling, and nail care
Safely handle dogs of different sizes, breeds, coat conditions, and temperaments
Provide attentive care through individual appointments focused on each dog’s specific needs
Consult with clients regarding grooming needs, coat condition, temperament, and desired style
Identify basic skin, coat, ear, or health concerns and communicate observations to management or pet owners
Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary grooming station and salon environment
Follow salon policies, safety procedures, and proper animal handling practices
Provide kind, professional, and respectful customer service
Work as part of a team to support the overall success and reputation of the salon
Help uphold the standards of a highly sought-after, award-winning grooming experience

Experience with common breed cuts and coat types

Experience with difficult, nervous, senior, or high-energy dogs is a plus
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work
Dependable, punctual, and able to manage individual appointments efficiently
