Overview
We are seeking a Tree Care Groundman.
This position will participate in all aspects of tree work. Duties will primarily include tree pruning and removals. Demonstrates proficiency in:
Chain saw use and felling techniques with Safety Emphasized
Climbing techniques and equipment
Basic knots and rope operations for rigging
Chipper use and safety
Hazard recognition
Emergency procedures
General work site safety
Pruning principles and techniques
Job briefings
Understanding work orders and plans
Excellent Customer Service
Must have great listening skills and excellent verbal and written communications skills. Must be able to lift up to 50Lbs.
Attention to detail, and eye for beautiful tree esthetics, quality workmanship and thoroughness in clean up.
Experience in gas powered tools including but not limited to chainsaws, grinders, blowers, hedgers, woodchipper operations, bucket truck and trailers. Also, use of hand tools, such as rakes, shovels, hand saws and tarps.
CDL Class B license preferred and incentivized.

Salary: $22.00 – $27.00 per hour plus bonus opportunity
