Overview

The desirable applicant has a good work ethic, punctual and effective. If the applicant has no qualifications, the applicant would start in reception and after 1 year the applicant would be offered the opportunity to attend an online veterinary technician training with partial tuition reimbursement if they so desire. If the applicant is already a registered technician then the position would start as a nursing position with some reception duties.

The clinic is currently open 8am-6pm M,T,Th, 9am-1 on Fridays and 9am-noon on Saturdays. The applicant would be offered a flexible schedule that would consist of less than a 38 hour work week. Saturdays rotate, typically 1-2 Saturdays/month. Work/Life balance is a priority.

Wages vary from $15-$23/hour based on experience and qualifications.

After 1 year of employment, we offer partial tuition reimbursement for a vet tech degree and a SIMPLE IRA Plan + an employer contribution match of up to 3% of employee’s compensation.

Low key support staff that is well-trained, uses caring communication, and has decades of combined experience. We also have a very low turnover rate.

It is encouraged and time is allowed for in depth conversation with clients, so that we may help the client remove obstacles in the way of a healthy pet/client/vet relationship. Practice goals are to provide a supportive environment for clients while playing a larger role in community wellbeing. This is achieved through kindness, high standard of care and a willingness to evolve our protocols, skills and techniques.

Onsite blood work, sedi-vue urinalysis, basic labs, digital radiographs, dental radiographs and ultrasound are just some of the services offered to clients.

Located in a small college town that provides a well educated client base, and allows for a small town atmosphere, with the added bonus of easily accessible social and extracurricular activities. 5K runs, hiking trails, dog parks, community sports, On-campus recreational center, community organizations, Nearby quality childcare and schools, restaurants, shops, shoe stores. 60 minute commute to Cincinnati, Dayton, Perfect North Ski resort, Kings Island, Cincinnati Zoo, Museum centers, and more.
