A.C.E. Veterinary Hospital is a two doctor companion animal practice with an immediate opening for a full time experienced veterinary assistant in Hopewell Junction, NY. Our brand new, innovative, state of the art full-service facility offers many services including preventative care, wellness care, surgery, and dental case management. Our mission is to emphasize preventative care, so our patients live longer and healthier lives. Doctors Brooke Wehrlin and Dr. Preston Kellner have been veterinarians in the area for 20 years and are committed to providing excellent and compassionate care to their clients. A.C.E. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:An experienced Veterinary Assistant with a minimum of 1-year experience preferred.
Compassionate, Calm, Team Player, Multi-Tasker and Strong Communicator
Must be able to properly restrain pets.
Proficient in sample collection, obtaining medical histories, processing laboratory tests and radiographs, and anesthesia monitoring are a bonus!
Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset.
