Veterinary Technician – PVT or RVT – FT or PT
Expected hiring range is $24.00 – $26.00/hour for Provisional Techs and $26.00 – $30.00/hour for Registered Techs.

What you’ll do:
From the surgery suite to the intake floor, your days will be dynamic and meaningful. You’ll assist with surgical procedures — including induction, intubation, and patient monitoring from prep through recovery — perform dental prophylaxis and radiographs, and conduct physical exams and triage as part of our animal intake process. You’ll administer medications, perform minor procedures, and run diagnostics like fecal floats, urinalysis, and cytology. You’ll also play an important role in maintaining accurate medical records in our shelter software, and you may work independently during weekend shifts — so confidence and good judgment are a must.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Graduate of an accredited veterinary technician program and hold (or be eligible for) registration with the State of Colorado as a PVT or RVT— we'll cover the cost of your VTNE and initial license registration. At least one year of animal handling experience in a shelter, clinic, or similar setting, plus proficiency with intubation, IV catheter placement, and anesthesia monitoring.
