Certified Veterinary Technician (Full-Time) – No Weekends!
Location: McMinnville, TN (Local candidates preferred; relocation assistance not provided)

Are you a certified, skilled Veterinary Technician tired of burnout, unpredictable hours, and losing your weekends?
At Mountains View Veterinary, we are a busy, independently-owned small animal practice in McMinnville, Tennessee. We operate by appointment, accept some walk-ins, and keep our weekends entirely sacred so our staff can recharge.

Our Hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Wednesday (Half Day!): 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Saturday & Sunday: CLOSED
We are looking for an experienced technician who can hit the ground running in a busy clinic environment. Your daily role will include:
Exam Room Workups: Confidently greeting clients, taking accurate patient histories, obtaining vital signs, and preparing the room for the DVM.
Laboratory Skills: Processing in-house lab work, running and reading fecals, and preparing diagnostics.
Patient Handling: Utilizing safe, confident, and compassionate restraint techniques for both dogs and cats.
Diagnostics & Phlebotomy: Efficiently pulling blood and positioning patients for high-quality digital X-rays.
Pharmacy & Documentation: Filling prescriptions accurately and maintaining detailed, precise medical records.

Requirements:
Previous experience as a certified veterinary technician is highly preferred.
Strong technical proficiency in phlebotomy, radiology, and basic lab work.
Excellent communication skills and a calm demeanor when navigating a busy day.
Reliable local commute to McMinnville, TN.
