SRH Veterinary Services is a well-established AAHA accredited mixed animal practice. SRH Veterinary Services has been providing quality veterinary care to large and small animals in Massachusetts and the North Shore area for over 70 years. We are seeking a Veterinary Technician to join the small animal department of our hospital. We strive to create a supportive environment, working off of each employee’s strengths and interests and individual personality. We are a busy practice of highly skilled doctors and vet techs working in a team based environment. Our team consistently works hard to provide exceptional animal care and customer service to our valued clients.
The candidate will help us provide amazing care for the pets entrusted to us and the people who love them. Qualified candidates should have a positive attitude, be highly motivated, have strong organization skills, and work well independently and in a team environment. The position requires good customer service skills, the ability to multitask and work well in a fast paced and exciting environment.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
As a technician, your primary responsibilities include assisting doctors with appointments, handling laboratory samples, radiology, preparing and dispensing prescriptions, and communicating with clients via telephone and text. Potential for anesthesia and surgical responsibilities after initial training or to a qualified candidate. We are a ‘paper-light’ practice and use Cornerstone as our practice management software.
