We implement diagnostic imaging such as ultrasound, radiographs, and echocardiograms alongside laboratory services to provide pet parents with a well-defined diagnosis. Our veterinary office focuses on treating the issue at hand but doesn’t neglect additional health concerns a pet may be exhibiting. Our knowledgeable, friendly staff is here to provide a comprehensive medical examination while making the experience enjoyable.
Our hours of operation are:
- Monday – Friday: 7:30AM – 6:00PM
- Saturday: 7:30AM – 1:00PM
- We are closed on Sundays

Job Description
This is a working supervisory position responsible for the leadership of the technician and assistant medical team under the mentorship of the Practice Manager.
This person will be responsible for:
- Directing on-the-job training to develop employee skills
- Advising employees of performance requirements and their progress in meeting those requirements
- Discussing corrective measures to improve performance and prepare appraisals
- Providing direction for efficient workflow
- Assisting with onboarding newly hired staff members
- Assisting with creating staff schedules and adjusting coverage where needed.
The other portion of this job includes working on the floor with the team completing veterinary technician duties, which includes (but is not limited to): animal restraint, triage of incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability, administration of medications, effective communication of treatment plans with clients, surgical preparation and assistance, anesthetic management, and dental prophylaxis procedures.
Qualifications
We’re Looking For:
- A Licensed Veterinary Technician with 3+ years veterinary experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and motivational skills.
- A team player that works well with all team members to ensure that their actions support the hospital, the doctors, and the practice philosophy.
- Has the ability to direct, guide, and assist a group of individuals, as well as a desire to teach others to create a well-rounded team.
- Comprehensive knowledge of veterinary procedures and hospital operations
- Knowledge of spelling and meaning of commonly used veterinary terminology (e.g., terms of anatomy, physiology, diseases, tests, etc.) to accurately enter specific information into patient records.
- Expertise in safe and low-stress animal restraint techniques.
- Proficiency in various sample collection methods, including blood, urine, fecal, and skin specimens.
- Proficiency in dental prophylaxis and dental radiographs.
- Experience in anesthesia administration and surgical monitoring.
- Experience in radiographic positioning and image capture.
- A self-starter with the desire to continue to advance one’s knowledge and skillset.
- Ability to show unbiased judgment when managing people and make fair and just recommendations regarding personnel issues and/or disciplinary action.
- Ability to receive constructive feedback in a professional manner to maintain hospital efficiency.
- Exceptional customer service skills and ability to communicate precisely.
- A high work ethic and positive attitude team member.
- Highly organized and possess computer skills.
- Commitment to professional ethics and continuous learning.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to animal-related hazards.
