Overview
Animal restraint, triage of incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability, administration of medications, effective communication of treatment plans with clients, surgical preparation and assistance, anesthetic management, and completing surgical notes and charts for procedures assisted with.
Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Must have minimum of 2 years experience as surgery tech and monitoring anesthesia!
Experienced and proficient in anesthesia and surgical monitoring
Knowledge in pre-operative care, preparation for surgical procedures, post-operative care, and discussing continued care with clients
Ability to interpret medical records and record client history accurately
Ability to restrain pets in a low-stress and safe manner
A high work ethic and positive attitude team member
