Overview
Kalamazoo Animal Hospital is looking for a veterinary technician who is licensed in the State of Michigan to join our team. We are a two doctor practice and are hoping to find the right technician to add to our highly skilled support staff. Our technicians get frequent opportunities to use their skills, including phlebotomy, peripheral intravenous catheter placement, anesthesia induction and monitoring, radiology (both full body and dental), client education and more. Our facility has been remodeled and has digital radiology, full in-house laboratory, and an new ultrasound unit. This position is ideal for either an experienced licensed tech or a newly licensed technician who would benefit from mentorship. Licensed technicians work closely both with the doctors and with a team of veterinary assistants. The position is expected to fill 30-40 hours weekly spread over 4-5 days per week. Work/life balance is a very important part of our culture. A current, in-good-standing Michigan veterinary technician license is required for this position.
