Overview
The role of our Veterinary receptionist position is to provide an exceptional standard of care for all of our patients and clients by offering a friendly greeting by phone and in person. Customer care representatives are the first point of contact for clients utilizing our services. It is the responsibility to schedule appropriately over the phone, greet all clients, and make sure they are comfortable in a clean reception area. They perform all designated call backs and reminders per the doctor and techs request. They bring us greater efficiency by ensuring the front office moves quickly so our wait times are not long. They have a big roll in providing education to clients regarding pet health and wellness.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Previous experience in the veterinary field preferred, but not necessary.
Previous experience in customer service preferred, but not required.
Basic computer/phone skills such as Microsoft Office andor Google docs etc.
Minimum 18 years of age.
Enjoys and shows compassion when working with animals.
Has excellent communication skills.
