Overview
We are a busy two doctor privately owned practice located in the beautiful town of New Carlisle, Indiana. We are looking for full and or part-time tech/assistants. We are looking to expand our wonderful team with our ever growing clientele. We are a fast-paced clinic seeing small animals. Our work week here is Monday through Friday ONLY! No weekends! We also have boarding and grooming at our practice. RVT license is preferred but not required. We offer PTO, 401k, CE allowance, uniform allowance and an employee discount. We do not have emergency hours and no on call. Hours are flexible and we offer competitive pay. We are also AAHA accredited.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Assisting Veterinarians in providing medical care to animals
Perform animal restraint
Administer medications and treatments as directed
Prepare and maintain laboratory tests
Assist with surgical procedures
Educate pet owners on animal care and nutrition
Strong attention to detail
Positive attitude
Knowledge of terminology and procedures
