Hawthorne Animal Hospital is a great place to work! We aim to create a real community within our clinic – among staff, clients, and patients. We aim to foster an environment of loyalty, respect, and a little bit of fun! We’re looking for smiling, compassionate, and committed registered technicians for our busy animal hospital. We are a two doctor small animal practice and like to maintain our small family feel. We pride ourselves on the longevity of many of our staff and clients. We offer more than the typical animal hospital and are a one stop service location for clients. We offer veterinary care, boarding, grooming and daycare. We embrace many fear-free practices at our facility. Services offered include digital x-ray, ultrasound, Idexx lab stations, Cornerstone computer software and more. We are NOT a paperless practice, but computer skills are necessary, and experience with Cornerstone is desired. Advanced skills are required for this full-time position, including lab sample collection, IV catheter placement, intubation, surgical assistance, radiology, dentals, reading lab tests, and more.

We believe in educating our clients so they’re better able to care for their pets. As a veterinary nurse, at our hospital, you will be a part of the entire process.
