Veterinary Technician

Overview

We have an opening for a full time technician position in busy seven doctor practice.  Our core values are teaching, learning and growing.  Please apply if you want to be a part of a caring team of doctors and technicians located in the beautiful Berkshire mountains of western Massachusetts.   We have three o’clock snack every day and we have a positivity program called “Tony Tokens”.  Our goal is not to be the best, but rather to strive to always be getting better at what we do.  We have a technician level program where we train on the job and help our technicians to gain confidence in new skills.  We have a fully developed dental program, we use ultrasound screening as part of our examinations and we use Oncura Partners for echocardiography and abdominal ultrasounds conducted on site.  We have two doctors seeing exotic animal species.  We offer flexible as well as rigid endoscopy and minimally invasive surgeries.   Please submit an application if you are intrested in joining our dynamic and fun-loving group.

Basic veterinary technical skills such as history taking, animal restraint, pharmacy knowledge are encouraged. We prefer experience with placing IV catheters, taking X-rays, monitoring anesthesia and knowledge of veterinary dentistry. We are also happy to TRAIN on the job as we have a technician level system in order to foster the growth of our team members. We are looking for people that curious, engaged and having a willingness to learn.
