Urgent Pet Care, with 2 locations in the Omaha/Papillion area is an AAHA accredited, growth – oriented, urgent care clinic that is making a difference in the lives of our patients, clients, and team members. Our trained technicians, assistants, and client care individuals are dedicated to the mission and values that make us stand out in the community. Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Pet restraint, triage incoming patients, assisting with the diagnostic treatments, assisting with nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability, assisting with administration of medications, effective communication within the team environment, and alignment of UPC core values.
Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases.

We’re looking for:
An experienced Veterinary Assistant with a minimum of 1-year experience preferred.
Compassionate, Calm, Team Player, Multi-Tasker and Strong Communicator
Must be able to properly restrain pets.
Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset.
The position is overnights 8pm to 8 am working Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Plus Holidays. We do have a $2.00 shift differential from 1 am to 8am.
